The stable will take one runner to the Belmont turf club race meeting on Wednesday, October 8 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good three with the rail out 18mtrs and the cut away in the straight.

The soul runner for the stable will come out in race 8 over 1700 m with  last start win a Vital Edition to contest for the prize with Peter Hall aboard jumping from barrier seven in a field of 10.

Vital Edition is a four-year-old Bay gelding having start number 15 with three wins and two placings earning prize-money in excess of $51,000.

Recent outings since returning from a spell started at Pinjarra finishing fourth of 11 on September 4 over 1200mtrs, finishing three lengths off the winner, and was last seen comfortably accounting for the opposition at Belmont on September 24 finishing first of 13 with Peter Hall aboard, taking out the event in the time of 1:44.59 with the last 600mtrs in 35.4, winning the event with a margin of two lengths back to the nearest rival.

Vital Edition has competed at the track on 4 occasions for 2 wins and is unbeaten at the distance 1650-1700mtrs, having started on two occasions for two victories, the good conditions should suit as the gelding although unchallenged on rain effect going has credentials on top of the ground.
