Vampi Lass took part in the Magic Millions Perth three-year-old trophy over 1200m on Saturday ridden by Troy Turner leaving from barrier 8.

When the starter let them go,Troy Turner patiently rode the 3yo filly back in the field, to settle around third last watching proceedings until it was their turn to be called upon.

From the 400m,Turner started to wind Vampi Lass up, and on entering the straight they were coming full steam and looking like a threat.

Testamezzo however had pinched a winning break to seal the win, and although Vampi Lass probably finished better than most, the judge eyed the vision and Lenience was semaphored in second place just in front of Vampi Lass.

The Bletchley Park filly has now placed 10 times from 14 starts and has greeted the judge on one occasion.
