The Ben Pearce Yard at this stage has two runners heading to the Ascot turf club race meeting on Wednesday March 4, the weather is predicted to be fine track rating of a good 3 is current, with the rail out 12m.

The first of the stable runners Poets Tale will come out in race six over a mile with Peter Hall in charge jumping from barrier 11 of 12.

Poets Tale is a three-year-old gelding having raced on five occasions with recent runs been at Pinjarra on February 11 finishing midfield six of 12 with Alan Kennedy aboard landing 4 1/2 lengths behind the winner and was last seen running fourth of 12 at Narrogin  over 1720m with Peter Hall the pilot landing 2 3/4 lengths behind the winner in a race time of 1:47.90.

The final runner on the card will see last start winner Lady Natesa heading out in race eight in 1400 meter handicap with Ben Patterson in charge jumping from barrier 13 in a field of 12.

Lady Natesa is a four-year-old mare having start number 14 with two wins and three placings earning prize-money in excess of $24,000, since resuming from a spell she contested at Ascot on February 4 finishing sixth of 9 over a 1100 m in a 0 to 68 benchmark with Ben Patterson in charge landing 2.75 lengths behind the winner and was last seen at Narrogin on February 20 finishing first of 10 over 1190 m with Ben Patterson again the pilot scoring the victory by 2 1/2 lengths on the line in the time of 1:11.79, for the trip when sent out as 3 to 1 favourite.
