Scenic Boom landed his second win from as many starts this preparation at Narrogin on Saturday when taking out the Hahn Super Dry Handicap (1190m).
Fresh off a maiden victory at the same track and distance 12 days prior, the Snippetson three-year-old jumped an $8.50 chance with apprentice Zephen Johnston-Porter aboard and was able to work across from barrier eight to settle one off the fence in third position.
The leader and race-favourite Good Vibes ($1.85) kicked clear from rivals on straightening to look the winner, however, Scenic Boom knuckled down strongly was able to mow him down over the final stages to win by just under a length.
L’il Capri ($5) finished a further length away in third place.
Scenic Boom has returned a much more furnished galloper this campaign and has now had seven career starts for two wins and a third placing.
The win was Pearce Racing’s 43rd of the 2024/25 season to date.
