The Ben Pearce team has nominated three runners for the Ascot race meeting on Saturday, 29 November with overcast conditions racing on a Good three with the rail out 9 m.
The first of the stable runners will come out in race five in a 2200 metre BM 72 handicap with Raising Dubai jumping from barrier eight in a field of 13 to be ridden by Peter Hall.
Raising Dubai is a five-year-old Bay gelding having start number 33 with five wins and 12 placings earning prize-money in excess of $160,000, recent runs for the gelding have been at Ascot on October 25 finishing midfield fourth of 8 over 2200 m with Hall in the saddle finishing 1.75 lengths behind the winner and was last seen at again at Ascot on November 8 finishing second of 10 over 2200m with Peter Hall again the pilot going down narrowly in a race time of 2:19.25 with the last 600m in 36.27.
The second stable runner Don'tgetcaught will come out in race six in a 1500m BM 60 handicap with Troy Turner to pilot jumping from barrier eight in a field of 15.
Recent runs for the four-year-old Bay gelding have been at Ascot on October 29 finishing third of 9 over 1200 m with Troy Turner aboard landing three quarters of a length behind the winner, and was last seen at Ascot on November 15 finishing ninth of 16 over 1400m again ridden by Turner finishing 5 1/2 lengths from the winner when ridden worse than midfield throughout.
The final runner for the yard will come out in race 8 in a 1800m BM 72 handicap with the inform Vital Edition lining up with Peter Hall in the saddle jumping from barrier seven in a field of 16.
In earlier runs this preparation the four-year-old Bay gelding put two together at Belmont in late September & early October then raced at Ascot on October 25 finishing first again over 1755m when ridden by Peter Hall scored by 2.25 lengths and was last seen at Ascot on November 8 finishing third of 10 with Joe Azzopardi on board finishing half a length off the winner in a race time of 2:19.25.
Vital Edition has raced on 17 occasions for five wins and three placings earning prize-money in excess of $102,000.
