A positive return from a spell to racing was witnessed by two stable runners in the form of Pushin’ Shapes (Peter Hall) & Skellig (Jarrad Noske) with the two runners having the task at hand to finish first and second in a no metro win last year handicap over 1216 m Bunbury.

After the gates flew back Pushin’ Shapes was second last with Skellig out the back early with both runners from wide alleys left to sit many lengths off the pace-setter, that being Friar’s Gift, Fabulistic trailed in earnest with Handled following.

On sweeping the turn Pushin’ Shapes and Skellig took alternate routes with Hall weaving a passage and Noske opting for the rails run, with a miracle appearing to be the only positive route home.

Midway down the straight Darren McAullay spotted the miracle, announcing Pushin’ Shapes passage apparent, moving up to grab the lead, Skellig was the next to join the stable mate as the pair finished first and second, with two perfectly ridden rides accompanied by two well-prepared runners.
