Exciting colt Money Maher made it two impressive wins in a row with another dominant display at Belmont on Saturday.

The Ben and Daniel Pearce-trained three-year-old, heavily backed into $1.60 favouritism, settled three-wide with cover for stable hoop Jarrad Noske and appeared to be traveling with a full head of steam turning for home.

Noske pulled the son of Al Maher to the middle of the track in the straight and when popped the question he responded brilliantly, unleashing the devastating turn-of-foot he showed in his first-up win at Northam on August 31.

Pearce Racing have always held a good opinion of Money Maher and he looks capable of playing a part in this year’s Ascot summer carnival feature events.
