A dominant display by the in-form stable prepared, Pushin’ Shapes saw the runner score in the XXXX Gold Narrogin Cup over 1900m, ridden perfectly by Joe Azzopardi.
Ridden in the second part of the field Pushin’ Shapes looked comfortable in the running, behind Wonorg the early race leader, Wayside was next in advance of Speed ‘N’ Reef with Present Arms next, Pushin’ Shapes was one off the rail, with plenty of room to attack out wide on turning for home.
On straightening the multiple race winner for the day, Joe Azzopardi, took a sneak over the shoulder and drove to the line untested, scoring the Narrogin Cup prize for connections, Oakland Park Stud Syndicate (Mgr: N G Duncan), D S Pearce, A Rigden, P A Whittleton, M A Whittleton, Mrs. C L Peterson
