The Ben Pearce racing stables supplied Don'tgetcaught to race six in a Schweppes handicap over 1200 m with the four-year-old gelding first up from a spell with Troy Turner to ride jumping from barrier eight in a field of nine.

 

As the Argonaut gates flew back Don'tgetcaught was worse than midfield Hennessey Raider led the field out with Magnus Missile the fav in second Dollar Down was prominent as was Night Train as they sorted out the order trying to find a position that resembled the instructions supplied pre race.

 

Coming for the swing Hennessey Raider still lead the field out as six lengths covered 1st to last, Magnus Missile was poised ready to strike with Strictly Boardroom back on the plastic as Night Train got outside, to Don'tgetcaught looking for the cut away to make a response.

 

On straightening heading for the judge Magnus Missile hit the lead Hennessey Raider was losing ground but still fighting as Strictly Boardroom fought hard with the Ben Pearce trained Don'tgetcaught used the most of the cut away to land closer with each bound , but on greeting the judge Magnus Missile took the thick end of the prize with Strictly Boardroom landin a head in front of Don'tgetcaught, putting in a solid first up performance.
