The Ben Pearce racing yard supplied Snitzblitz to race five on the programme in the Carole Steele maiden over 1420 m racing on a good three with Jason Brown the pilot jumping from an awkward 11 alley.
On Jumping Snitzblitz was at the tail with no urgency showed early as the field settled into stride, the speed up front only moderate.
The race leader was Foxella with Secret Ensign round the side and on entering the straight Whose The Guru the race favorite was out of contention,Alligen meanwhile strode up took the lead and careered away landing the thick end of the prize to Snitzblitz, whom fought on tenaciously after a bumping dual in the straight to land in second with Captain Jack rolling up in third.
