The Ben Pearce Racing yard saddled up Snitzblitz to the Bunbury race meeting on Friday in a 1410 meter maiden with Peter Hall aboard jumping from barrier six in a field of 13.
After leaving the gates Snitzblitz was worse than mid field and remained there until turning the home bend, when Hall presented the 4-year-old brown mare out deep on the track to go out after the race leaders, in the form of Kazacka and Boom Boom Bang, and as the field were near the completion of the fourth on the card it was all Kazacka, Sean Meeres the pilot, landing the prize, bringing up the maiden win at start number 18 with Boom Boom Bang, the race favourite landing a successive second, with Snitzblitz running on strongly when it was all over scoring the third dividend.
