Silver Knows was the second stable runner to compete on the York card, heading out in race (2) on the program with a maiden plate over 1100m before the runners with Randy Tan aboard.
On leaving the stalls in the Community TAB Maiden, it was a tardy dispatch, Woodmans Keep led the way in advance of Silver Knows with Habenera next. On strengthening for home Habenera kicked clear, Silver Knows ran on, and although being a fraction erratic in the concluding stages, landed 2nd in advance of Woodmans Keep in the third division.
