Ben Pearce has accepted with two thoroughbreds for the Kalgoorlie-Boulder racing club meeting scheduled for Sunday, August 17 in a provincial TAB meeting to be held under fine conditions with a track rating of a good three posted.
The first of the Pearce runners will head out in race two on the card in a benchmark 58 handicap over 1100 m with Beinn Nibheis 3rd up from a spell to be ridden by Ben Patterson jumping from barrier three of 10.
Beinn Nibheis returned to competitive racing following a sixth of 14 at Belmont, over a thousand metres when ridden by Jarrad Noske finishing 3.25 lengths off the winner on that occasion and was last seen at Belmont August 6th over a thousand metres with Peter Hall in the saddle finishing 10th of 15 in a race time of 58.95 with the last 600m in 34.69 finishing 4.5 lengths off the winner on that occasion.
The second runner for the team will come out in the featured Goldfields Tattersalls Club Cup over 2300 m with Raising Dubai jumping from barrier one with Ben Patterson aboard in a field of nine.
Racing Dubai is a five-year-old Bay gelding having started on 25 occasions for three x wins and 11 x placings bringing about prize-money in excess of $104,000, his most recent runs have been at Belmont with a seven of 12 recorded on July 12 over 2100m, when ridden by Peter Hall finishing 8.25 lengths off the winner and was last seen placing third at Belmont over 2100 m on a Dead 4 finishing 2.75 lengths off the winner when ridden by Hall at 58 kg.
Ben has made a gear change on the gelding, by removing the Bar Plates for this outing.
