A strong 2200m effort was witnessed by Rosewood Hill, the daughter of Rothesay when competing at Ascot in race five in a class three handicap on Friday.

Put in a relaxed mode by Jarrad Noske, the four-year-old Bay Mare settled towards the tail of the field before threading the needle between runners in the latter stages of the event to run out the 2200 m strongly in advance of Bon Signore with Skip Tracer running third on this occasion.
