Rosewood Hill ran a solid second in the Peacock Bros handicap over 2200m, as a field of 10 vied for the prize, with the last start winner ridden by Jarrad Noske.

Landing worse than midfield on landing, the race leader was The Karnup Kid, Couleur Bizarre was next as the Parnham boys dictated the race with the field turning for home. Into the straight The Karnup kid was gone, Couleur Bizarre was tackled in earnest by Skip Tracer, Rosewood Hill was looking for a way through until finally given a crack late on the line, though all to no avail.

Skip Tracer piloted by Troy Turner took advantage of momentum to land in front of a luckless Rosewood Hill, who tried gallantly in the final passage to arrive in front of Couleur Bizarre who finished in third on this occasion.
