The Ben Pearce team will take one runner to the Belmont turf club on Saturday, July 26, with the weather currently overcast and a track rating of a Dead four is in place.
The soul runner for the yard will go out in race five in the Amelia Park handicap over 2000m with Raising Dubai jumping from barrier eight in a field of 11 with Ben Paterson to ride.
Raising Dubai is a four year old gelding having start number 25 with three x wins and 10 x placings bringing about prize-money in excess of $100,000, most recently the gelding has been seen racing at Belmont over 1600m on June 28, finishing third of 16, 2.25 lengths off the winner on that occasion, and was last seen running at the same venue finishing seventh of 12 over 2100m on July 12, landing 8.25 lengths off the winner in a time of 2:13.32.
