Raising Dubai is a six-year-old Bay gelding having start number 40 with six wins and 16 placings earning prize-money in excess of $226,000, with recent efforts this preparation on August 1 at Belmont finishing first of 8 over 1600 m with Jerry Noske the pilot landing the prize by half a length on that occasion, he then raced at Belmont on August 15 finishing second of 10 over 1650m with Paul Harvey aboard arriving one length behind the winner with the latest effort being on August 29 at Belmont over a mile finishing second of 15 with Jerry Noske again the handler in a BM 66+, when traveling rearward in the early stages of the event to flash through only to go down narrowly on that occasion by a quarter of a length in the time of 1:39.16.
