The Ben Pearce Yard contested race seven on the Belmont turf club race meeting on Saturday, August 15 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good 4 the rail was out 9 m with stable runner Raising Dubai to be ridden by Paul Harvey jumping from barrier 10 in a field of 10 over 1650 m in the TAB Touch handicap.

After an even dispatch Raising Dubai was out honestly from the wide alley, and settled down near the rear with only a couple of runners behind it with Harvey patiently riding the six-year-old Bay gelding with a handy resume of six wins from 39 starts with earnings in excess of $216,000.

The leaders went reasonably hard allowing the back markers to run boldly, the fav Red Ora was up in distance and was looking fatigued in the concluding stages as Young Lionel and Raising Dubai were left to fight it out from last to first in a twinkling, stride for stride the hoops worked the charges towards the line with Noske gaining the upper hand in the concluding stages to defeat the honest Raising Dubai with Military Ruler in third.
