Ben Pearce took one runner to the wet Belmont race meeting on Saturday, 21st of June with Raising Dubai taking part in the Ascend Sales Trophies handicap over a mile with Peter Hall in the saddle jumping from barrier two in a field of 14 with the track rated a slow six.

On jumping Peter had his ride in a prominent forward position and on settling past 1400m marker it would Run For Rum leading the field with Maskaev  in second with the 20 to 1 pop Raising Dubai third, and Gracetown fourth in the running.

Coming around the side Run For Rum put a couple on the field, with Raising Dubai on the plastic for the trip from an inside gate, Maskaev was falling out if contention and Moët Me had ran into fourth.

Coming near the line Trade Down ascended on the pushed out Raising Dubai, with Trade Down aging the upper hand to edge out the fast finishing Gladstone, with a lip back to Raising Dubai third, in a gallant return.
