The Ben Pearce prepared Raising Dubai headed out in a benchmark 78+ handicap at the Belmont race meeting on Saturday, September 26 to compete over a mile with Ms Jerry Noske aboard jumping from barrier eight with a handy field of 8 to compete.

Raising Dubai on exit was tailed off at the rear of the field, the race leader Spacecraft, second up from a spell was next, Halo Express, the well supported favourite William Pike aboard settled in one off the fence Dabang was third with Rebelson, third up from a spell landing in fourth position as the field at this stage was spread out some six lengths with Jerry Noske taking hold of the 6-year-old gelding Raising Dubai.

To the side the order was relatively unchanged, probably with the exception of Rebelson whom had moved up into third position relegating Debang back on the fence to sit fourth, Jerry Noske was still out the back  on her runner, however on straightening was looking for an out which appeared, coming off the back of the second last horse with 200m to go, Rebelson and Halo Express were fighting it out and looking like the event was between them,  but under the urgings of Noske the well-prepared runner cruised up to take the lead in the concluding stages to score by a length on the line.

Congratulations to the ownership group of Mr C S Pearce, Mr B M Pearce, Mr R Barrett-Lennard, Mr G J Smith, Mr M J Barrett-Lennard, Mr J Barrett-Lennard, Mr K E Mcglinn, Mr S M A Fleming, Mrs B K Jose with their horse Raising Dubai the gift that just keeps giving.
