The Ben Pearce racing team will supply one runner to the Belmont turf club TAB metropolitan race meeting to be held on Saturday, August 30 with fine conditions displaying a track reading of a good three.
The soul runner for the team will come out in race two in a Westspeed stayers bonus handicap over 2200 m with Raising Dubai to be ridden by Ben Patterson jumping from barrier six of eight.
Raising Dubai is a five-year-old Bay gelding having start number 27 with three wins and 11 placings earning prize-money in excess $105,000.
Raising Dubai is prepared for this outing via a recent trip to Belmont on August 2 finishing third of 10 over 2100 m when ridden by Peter Hall in a forward manner finishing off the event in a time of 2:14.49 and most recently travelled to Kalgoorlie on August 17 finishing fourth of 9 over 2300m in a benchmark 70 with Ben Patterson aboard,finishing 4.5 lengths off the winner on that occasion.
