Ben Pierce headed to race eight on the Belmont race club meeting held on the 28th of June with Raising Dubai jumping from barrier seven with Chanelle O'Grady aboard with a field of 16 to go around.

On jumping O'Grady had Raising Dubai across to be in a positive position a couple off the plastic with Hinzley leading the way, Amarna was in second with the Saxons Patch running third with Raising Dubai settling outside in fourth.

Coming around the side, not much had changed, with the exception of Gladstone moving into third at the expense of the Ben Pearce runner, Raising Dubai, with whom had moved into fifth.

Coming out of the straight Saxons Patch was the one to catch and in no time had been collected by Gladstone, which had gone to a commanding lead to come to the line and collect the chockies, with the fast finishing Danish Delight, relegating the honestly run Raising Dubai into third on this occasion.
