Pearce Racing made it back-to-back wins in the Terra Drilling Kambalda Cup (1400m) when Rainline took out the headline event at Kalgoorlie on Sunday.
Following stablemate Influencing’s success in the same race in 2025, Rainline was backed from $3.30 into $2.80 favouritism to land the third leg of a running treble for jockey Tash Faithfull on the day.
The Rommel five-year-old landed one-out and one-back from barrier three before Faithfull angled her into the clear turning for home and she let down with a strong finish to defeat The Jester’s Son ($11) by a length.
Monty Zoomer ($4) finished a further neck away in third place.
Rainline has been a consistent mare along the journey and has now had 23 career starts for four wins, nine minor placings and 16 top-four finishes, accumulating total stake earnings of $246,631 in the process.
The Pearce stable has prepared three winners in the first nine days of the 2026/27 season.
