Ben Pearce has accepted with one runner in the form of Poet Tale to the Pinjarra race club meeting on Sunday, January 11 with fine weather forecast the rail is out 5 m racing on a good three at this stage.

Poet's Tale will come out in race four in 1500 meter event, first up from a spell jumping from a wide 15 alley to be ridden by Alan Kennedy with a field of 14 to compete.

Poets Tale is a three-year-old gelding having start number two with one run last preparation being at Belmont on June 25 finishing eight of 15 with Ben Patterson aboard, landing 8.5 lengths behind the winner, and is prepared for this preparation via two Lark Hill trial's the first on December 15 finishing 10 of 12 over 950 m with Peter Hall in charge and most recent on December 29 finishing midfield fourth of 8 over 1450m with Alan Kennedy aboard finishing six lengths behind the heat winner in a time of 1:31.30.
