Ben Pearce has accepted with 2 runners for the Pinjarra racing club meeting on Thursday, May 21 with overcast conditions racing on improved soft five the rail is out 4m.

The first of the stable runners will see Tortosa head out in a class one handicap over 1200 m with Peter Hall aboard jumping from an awkward barrier 14.

Tortosa is a six-year-old Bay mare having raced on 11 occasions for one win and two placings earning prize-money in excess of $12,000 recent efforts have seen her compete at Narrogin, finishing 10 of 10 over 1190 m with Peter Hall in charge and was last seen at Pinjarra on May 6 finishing eight of 14 with Peter Hall the pilot arriving 1.75 lengths behind the winner in a timeout 1:11.94 for the trip.

The second of the stable runners will see Bellaxena  returning from a spell in a 0 to 68 handicap over a thousand metres with Peter Hall in charge jumping from barrier five in a field of 11.

Bellaxena is a five-year-old Bay mare having start number 25 with three wins and seven placings earning prize-money in excess of $47,000, with recent efforts last preparation being at Ascot on November four finishing midfield fourth of eight over a thousand metres with Peter Hall in charge arriving 1.75 lengths behind the winner and was last seen at Northam on November 19 finishing fourth of nine over a thousand metres with Peter Hall aboard arriving three quarters of length behind the winner in a time of 58.18
