The Belmont Turf Club on Wednesday, 28th of May saw a Westspeed Nursery thousand meter handicap take place in overcast conditions on a dead for track, with a first starter for the Ben Pearce Yard Prince Friar, heading out with Jarrod Noske aboard.
As the gates flew back Prince Friar got out moderately and on settling was four off the plastic with cover, upon entering the course proper.
Approaching the home turn Keeto was the lamplighter with Shaeidel in second Circle Of Friends was third, Like A Hussy in fourth with Prince Friar moving to the outside to stake a claim.
Heading for the judge Shaedel had cleared out and although challenged late by the fast finishing Divided House it was to finish that way, with a nice effort by Prince Friar to edge out Sasanova in third.
Ben will see how Prince Friar pulls up as to what direction he heads next with the youngster.
