Mad Brad took his place in race 5 on the Belmont card, partnered by Peter Hall jumping from barrier 3 of 14, his second up form stood up as well as he's success at the distance proving a liking for the 1200m.
Mad Brad jumped mid field with the pace on in ernest with Hall looking for a shot at the field as they headed into the straight, coming out of the turn, Peter Hall was threading the needle and gained the most out of Mad Brad, with the beautifully prepared runner responding in the final stages to land the prize for connections, scoring in the 5th event on the program by a half a length on the line to Pru's Image with Highly Secret in third and in doing so chalked up win number two for the owners B M Pearce, B P Jones
