The team at Ben Pearce racing will supply one runner in the form of Mad Brad to the Ascot turf club race meeting to be held on Saturday, February 28 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good three with the rail in the inside position, in the Initial Plus handicap over 1200 m with Mad Brad having his second start from a spell to be ridden by Peter Hall jumping from barrier eight in a field of 10.

Mad Brad is a four-year-old gelding having start number 13 with the ever consistent galloper competing for four wins and six placings earning prize-money in excess of $94,000.

After a string of success last time in, his last run completed  a handy preparation on September 13 finishing third of 10 over 1400 m in a BM 60+ handicap with Joe Azzopardi in charge landing one length behind the winner, and was prepared for this preparation via a run at Ascot on February 14 finishing third of 11 over 1200 m in a BM 72+ with  Ben Patterson in charge landing 2.75 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:11.01 with the last 600m in 35.00 even.
