The stable saddled up Mad Brad for Ascot race six in a benchmark 72 handicap over 1200 m with Peter Hall to ride jumping from barrier eight in the field of nine.

On jumping it was Temporise to lead, with She's A Virtue in second Brother Patrick was third Tiger Pete was  fourth with Hall guiding Mad Brad to be worse than midfield one of the fence.

Round the side it was still Temporise the race leader She's A Virtue was still off the hip, Brother Patrick was getting the stitch, Tiger Pete was fourth as Mad Brad come to the outside to have one last crack in the straight.

On straightening it was Temporise with a kick She's A Virtue was not done yet though, Dueton had entered the fray but was only looking a minor role player and Mad Brad was widest runner and although running on strongly looked unlikely to pick up the leader, and as they drew to the line it was She's A Virtue finishing over the top of Temporise with Mad Brad landing in third and Dueton finishing in fourth.
