Ben Pearce will return to the Ascot turf club on Saturday, March 7 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good 4 the rail is out 9 m.

The first of the stable runners will come out in race five with Mad Brad third up from a spell with Ben Patterson aboard jumping from barrier 10 in a field of 10 in 1400 meter handicap event.

Mad Brad is a 4-year-old gelding having had 13 career starts for four wins and seven placings earning prize-money of $99,000, since winning at Belmont last preparation he has ran third consecutively since then in four starts, the first at Belmont over 1400m, then on September 13, finished third over the same trip, then third at Ascot in his return this prep and last time out third at Ascot on February 28 with Peter Hall in charge.

The final runner Don'tgetcaught will come out in a benchmark 60+ handicap over a mile with Alan Kennedy in charge jumping from barrier 2 in a field of 14.

Don'tgetcaught is a four-year-old Bay gelding having start number 18 with four wins and five placings earning prize-money in excess of $58,000 since winning at Ascot on January 21 he travelled to the same venue on February 4 finishing fourth of 16 with Alan Kennedy in charge and was last seen with Kennedy again in the saddle at Ascot on February 21 finishing six of 15 over 1800 m landing one length off the winner in a race time of 1:52.77.
