The team at Ben Pearce racing accepted with five-year-old mare, Lady Natesa for race one on the Geraldton race card in a BM 58+ handicap over 1413 m with Ms Jerry Noske the pilot jumping from barrier one with a field of 6 to campaign.

As the field jumped as one when the starter released it was Mosseratti the early leader,  Eco Park was in second Lady Natesa hard up against the plastic in third with Special Ken the old timer in fourth as the field settled past the thousand meter marker.

Off the back it was still Mosseratti,  Eco Park was still second and starting to hunt up late, Lady Natesa was third with Special Ken looming up alongside Lady Natesa as they circled the turn into the straightening.

On straightening Eco Park was giving Mosseratti no peace with Lady Natesa squeezing between runners and looming with an honest challenge, however in the concluding stages the fresh legged Mossman Flyer was late on the scene and a photo was called for across the board in a four way finish, with the judge declaring Mossman’s Flyer the victor with Lady Natesa in second and Special Ken in third.
