Last start winner Lady Natesa headed out in race eight in the Touchtab Supporting W.A. Racing Handicap over 1400 m in a 0 to 64 handicap with Ben Patterson the pilot jumping from a wide alley in 11 of 11.

On leaving the Argonaut stalls it was Gracious Mack at odds (60-1) leading the field past the thousand, Lady Natesa from the deep was wide on her run with the pace muddling,  Patterson elected to ride forward and settled second off the leaders hip, Shinboner Buster was one off the fence in third position with Aussie Belle in fourth on the plastic.

Heading past the 600m the upfront order was unchanged with Gracious Mak, still running a cheeky race Lady Natesa was still second with a reasonably hard run presenting, Shinboner Buster had snuck up to third with Aussie Belle on the fence with Satan's Dancer the race favourite, peeling wide for an assault in the straight, as it was presumed the front runners may run out of gas in the concluding stages.

Into the straight the pairing up front were still dominating the event as the expectation of runners from behind  were presenting their runs, and as they drew down to the concluding stages it was Lady Natesa whom gained the upper hand, race favorite Satan's Dancer was climbing all over her back, however as they hit the line it would be back to back wins for Lady Natesa with a quarter of a length to Satan's Dancer with Mudlode running on from behind to finish in third with a gallant Gracious Mak landing in fourth.

It was a courageous effort by Lady Natesa and a thrill for connections whom had gone through a pretty ordinary preparation last time in with Ben Pearce commenting that "we put her away last time and thought the firmer surfaces would hopefully bring her back to her first preparation results which were pleasing".

A great forward ride by Ben Patterson who had relatively no choice but to go forward, Ben will wait to see how she pulls up as to which direction we with her, A top effort by all responsible.
