The Pearce prepared Hashtag improved on recent outings fresh from a spell when the Flying Pegasus out of Konzaag commodity, landed third in the summer racing early bird tickets over 1200m.
After an untidy dispatch, Hashtag ambled out of the stalls with Noske settling on the rail with three runners behind its rump via the riverside.
Du Plessis ran through towards the rail to grab the lead, before being snared late on arrival by Star Glitter, Hashtag was looking for a way out midway down the straight which never arrived until late in proceedings, leaving the runner finishing nicely in between the first and second runners, to finish third on this occasion.
