The Ben Pearce racing yard prepared one runner for race 10 on the Bunbury card in a class one handicap over 1216m, with Gigidy Gigidy Goo to compete with Randy Tan aboard jumping from barrier eight with a field of ten to compete.
As they released in the MGIB tenth event on the card, the first runner into stride was Flying Reputation, Klondike Kenny the well supported race favourite was second, Doshrike was in third, Stage Girl was fourth with Gigidy Gigidy Goo midfield on landing as the field past the 800m peg.
On straightening Gigidy Gigidy Goo was making a forward passage, Stage Girl and Flying Reputation were under the hammer, as Doshrike was trying to secure a place with Il Postino running on.
As the race drew to a conclusion it was all Gigidy Gigidy Goo, under the urgings of Randy Tan landing the prize with the well prepared runner to take out the last on the card, Doshrike took out the second prize with Il Postino finishing in the third division.
Congratulations to the ownership group consisting of Mr J Papadopoulos, Mr D R Fletcher, Mr M Nash, Mrs M A Nash, Mr A G Valentino, Mr R S Ashby, Mr R A Clarkewith their runners convincing win second up from a spell at Bunbury, to chalk up its second career win from nine outings.
