The Ben Pearce team will head to the Narrogin race meeting on Friday, 28 March, with the rail in the inside position, the track currently displaying a good 3, and the weather is fine at this stage.
Race 1 will see Beinn Nibheis having his second start this preparation in a 920m maiden with Peter Knuckey in control of the 3-year-old bay gelding.
Beinn Nibheis comes into this race following a trial at Lark hill, where he finished second of eight in that heat, last time out he was disappointing when he finished seventh of eight at Ascot over 1000m finishing 5.5 lengths behind the eventual winner. An improvement is expected.
The second on the card will entertain two Pearce runners with the first wearing saddle cloth 4, Don'tgetcaught ridden by Troy Turner jumping from an awkward gate and the second runner, will see first starter Island Wedding wearing saddle cloth 9 jumping from barrier nine, to be ridden by Peter Knuckey in a field of 10 over 1190m.
Don'tgetcaught is second up this prep after a nice trial in March, running 2nd of 9 over 930m, and last seen, will be looking to improve on a failure at Ascot where the gelding finished towards the rear mid March.
Island Wedding will have her first look at competitive racing on Friday and has been prepared for this outing via two trials at Lark hill, where the 3-year-old finished fifth of nine over 950m and sixth of nine respectively 1 1/2 lengths behind the winner in that heat.
Race eight will see the Ben Pearce commodity Flight Of Fancy take part in a 1700m handicap with Troy Turner to accompany in a 12 horse acceptance.
Flight Of Fancy had a poor start to this preparation however things have improved for connection's, as the 3-year-old filly has relished racing over more ground to win 2 of her last 3 outings, coming from well back on settling to overpower her rivals in the concluding stages of her races.
Last time out she failed in her bid at Listed company beaten by 11 1/2 lengths, she will appreciate the class drop here.
