The first stable runner saw Forbidden Planet lead for most of the race until challenged in the concluding stages, with the challenges making it interesting, however the challenges were all to no avail as Peter Hall lifted Forbidden Planet to score in advance of Miss Harley Quinn with Rotana Beach in third.

Moving on to race six on the programme, with the feature of the day, the Boulder Cup run over 2100 m with Don’tgetcaught situated worse than midfield on jumping, Western Blaze lead in advance of I Done It, with Get Round It next, in front of Confusing, Don’tgetcaught sat midfield throughout the race, as the field headed to the turn.
Coming to the turn Western Blaze led, I Done It was next Get Round It followed with Green Reward following in advance of Don’tgetcaught whom tucked in behind runners, looking for a miracle, with Peter Hall aboard.
Entering the straight I Done it kicked clear, Hall was looking like he found that miracle, coming through the pack at a rate of knots, to score with an example of a well-prepared horse, backed up by a rider trusting his companion landing the prize at around 8 to 1, earning connections the 2016 Boulder Cup in advance of Cougar Express, with race favourite Ihtsahymn, arriving in third.
