The Ben Pearce Yard will supply one runner in race six on the Ascot card on Saturday, 15th March in the Natasha Stakes over 2200m
Flight Of Fancy is the horse in question to be ridden by Troy Turner jumping from barrier 6 in a capacity field of 16.
The race is of listed stature with the combined prize pool of $100,000 for the three-year-old fillies.
Flight Of Fancy had raced ungenerously early this prep, however the stable and connections had belief in her, based on the effort she displayed in her first outing as a 2-yo where she finished 4th in a future form line event behind horses such as Vital Edition, Newton Prince.
Ben took the filly to Narrogin and the company was not as strong as previous outings, she relished the 1700m and took out the event by 2.0 lengths, that trip seemed to flick the switch, as her next outing was rewarding for connections also, taking out a Bunbury 2000m journey, albeit erratically but with arrogance on that occasion.
Troy Turner is in control again on Saturday, and the relationship between jockey and thoroughbred seems to be working.
Best of luck to connections with Flight Of Fancy in the listed Natasha Stakes.
