The Ben Pearce racing establishment headed to the Pinjarra racing club meeting on Thursday, September 4 with fine conditions preparing the runners for a Dead four track, with the stable preparing Dynamic Boy to come out in race five in the Lark Hill Vets Maiden over 1600m with a field of 12 to battle out the event.
On landing Alan Kennedy had Dynamic Boy worse than midfield and galloping along with three runners behind them in a relaxed mode, Te Koona lead the field out,Rubykon lass was in second, Honour Rock was third and Eiffel was travelling fourth coming past the 1000m marker.
Around the side the order hadn't altered much with Identity Theif entering the fray and Dynamic Boy taking a more forward role albeit 5 deep coming past the 400.
On straightening the field spread across the track with the winner looking likely from anywhere, with the widest runners making their presents felt, Dance Along and Dynamic Boy eventually targeted the line first and as they landed for the judge it was Jason Whiting landing the prize ($3.40) on Dance Along with Alan Kennedy's mount Dynamic Boy ($17) a neck away with the fast finishing Heavens Touch (William Pike $5) in third.
