Ben Pearce will supply one runner in form Don'tgetcaught to the Pinjarra Park race club meeting on Sunday, January 4 with fine conditions forecast racing on a good three with the rail out 3 m and a cut away in the straight.
Don'tgetcaught will come out in race eight in the Mandurah mail handicap over a mile with the recent combination of group 3 La Trice Classic trainer Ben Pearce and jockey Alan Kennedy combining jumping from barrier one in a field of 12.
Don'tgetcaught is a four-year-old Bay gelding having start number 14 with three wins and four placings earning prize-money in excess of $41,000, with recent trips to the races being at Bunbury on December 12 finishing third of 15 over 1410 m with Kennedy aboard finishing 3 1/2 a length from the winner and was last seen at Pinjarra Park over 1409m on December 26, finishing second of 11 in a 0 to 68 handicap with Alan Kennedy again the pilot finishing .25 lengths off the race winner in a time of 1:24.56 with the last 600m in 35.27.
Don'tgetcaught has contested at the Pinjarra Park track on two occasions for a win and a second, however distance wise has competed once without placing.
