Race two on the card bought up at double for the Ben Pearce Yard, when Don'tgetcaught took out the 1190m event jumping from an awkward barrier 10 ridden by Troy Turner.

Don'tgetcaught on settling was one off the rail bowling along without cover keeping within contact of the first two runners with the majority of  runners behind the first group.

On straightening Don'tgetcaught leveled up to be just off the girth of Heez Our Wally with Turner starting to stoke his charge up for a run at the line.

More Magic was the one to catch mid way down the straight, but Don'tgetcaught easily accounted for the leader. As the event got longer the Ben Pearce prepared galloper extended, eventually  taking out the second event by 2 3/4 lengths, confidently ridden out by Troy Turner.

The win gives the 3-y-old win number one from four starts and a reward to Nr J Glass and Ms M Leigh for their support in the thoroughbred. A fine effort.

The stable also had Island Wedding in the same event, with the first starter traveling last for most of the trip, but found the line nicely to finish fourth. The signs were encouraging for the 3-yo and Ben will look to see where she is best placed next start.
