Ben Pearce supplied four-year-old Bay gelding Don'tgetcaught to race seven on the Pinjarra card on boxing day Friday, December 26 in race seven in the state wide turf services handicap over 1409m ridden by by Alan Kennedy jumping from barrier nine in a field of 11.
As the starter released Don'tgetcaught was at the back travelling well for Kennedy in a relaxed fashion, remaining there until straightening when Kennedy pushed the button, and Don'tgetcaught, the winner of three events from 13 starts let down with an almighty burst to be the widest runner on entry to make up many lengths in the straight to land in second, a half head to Buhn Lert with a further half head to Night Prowler.
