Trainer Ben Pearce took Don'tgetcaught to the Pinjarra Park race meeting held on Wednesday, 17 May, in a 0-68 Handicap event jumping from barrier five with Troy Turner, on a slow 6 track, after storms down graded the meeting from dead 5 to a slow prior to the seventh race.

On Jumping Troy had Dontgetcaught out nicely to be second between runners with a nice sit, and on settling sat one off the fence behind the race leader Rivimac, with the emergency Carlton Street in a forward position.

Coming to the 600m, Don'tgetcaught and pilot Troy Turner refused to play apart in the early speed battle and sat patiently fanning of heals coming into the straight, four off the fence.

Coming to the 200m Troy has his mount full of running, a threat loomed large with Monemvasia momentarily hitting the lead, but the recent hunger shown by the Ben Pearce galloper proved enough again, as the 3-year-old gelding took out the event in a time of 1:35.37 with the last 600m in 38:87, bringing up win number 3 for connections consisting of Mr J Glass & Ms M Leigh in his last 4 outings.
