The Ben Pearce Racing Team has elected to nominate one-horse for the Metropolitan TAB meeting at Belmont turf club on Saturday, 14th of June, the weather is currently fine and a track rating of a Good three is current.
Bens only runner will be Danablue, second up from a spell in race eight in a handicap event over 1400 m with Shaun O'Donnell to partner jumping from barrier five.
Danablue is a four-year-old Bay gelding having start number 15 with three wins and prize-money of $112,275, and is prepared for this outing following a fourth of six in a barrier trial at Belmont followed up by Lark Hill trial finishing eighth of Eight and was last seen racing at Belmont finishing third of 16 over 1400 m with Peter Knuckey aboard.
Danablue has a liking for the track having raced on seven occasions for two x wins, three x seconds and two thirds.
