Ben Pearce supplied Danablue to race six on the Pinjarra card in a class five handicap over 1200 m with Randy Tan aboard jumping from barrier 4 with a field of 11 to go round.
As the field was let go in the Pinjarra Alumina refinery handicap the first runner into stride was Singing Skies, moving across from the deep to lead into the first turn, Spy Scandal was second, Danablue progressed around Kaapander with the field passing the 600m.
Coming to the turn the order upfront was unchanged Singing Skies was the temporary leader and was under pressure Spy Scandal was also losing ground Danablue was looming as a threat as Niccatrice went to the lead, with that pairing looking like fighting out the final stages of the event, till Unbridled Song raced up alongside Danablue to score the 6th on the card to a game Danablue in second with Niccatrice arriving in third.
