Stablemates Fiorucci Mama and Wise Words landed a Pearce Racing double at Ascot and Albany on Saturday when scoring their first wins.
Debutant Fiorucci Mama, a Rommel two-year-old, upstaged more-fancied rivals when leading from go-to-whoa in the Magic Millions Plate (1000m).
Starting on the fifth line of betting at $12, champion hoop William Pike jumped the filly straight to the lead and she was able to show her opposition a clear pair of heels, running away to defeat race-favourite Hang Glider ($2.90) by more than a length.
Quindandino ($14) finished a further three-quarter-length away in third place.
Purchased for only $10,000 at a Magic Millions winter online sale, Fiorucci Mama collected a lucrative $81,300 for her first-start win.
Stablemate Wise Words also scored her first career win when taking out the Freight Lines Group Maiden (1200m) at Albany.
The well-bred Zoustar three-year-old enjoyed a nice run behind the pacemakers for jockey Kyra Yuill before bursting clear in the straight and defeating Colour Me Son ($5) by a head.
Sneaky Fox ($6) finished a further two lengths away in third place.
Wise Words has now had 11 career starts for one win, three minor placings and $48,860 in total earnings.
The in-form Pearce stable has recorded 10 wins and eight minor placings from its past 30 starters, returning a winning strike rate of 33.3% and a first-three strike rate of 60% in that time.
