Ben Pearce will saddle up one runner to the Ascot turf club race meeting on Saturday, April 18 with, Bomber Bay in race 2 on the card, the rail is out 6m the entire circuit racing on a good 4 with the weather predicted to be fine.

Bomber Bay will compete over 1200 m with Ben Patterson aboard jumping from barrier five with the last start winner up against a field of eight.

Bomber Bay is a three-year-old Bay gelding having start number three with one win earning prize-money of $10,000 last time out he contested at Pinjarra recording that win over a thousand metres on March 29 finishing first of 16 on a good three when ridden by Ben Patterson, travelled 10th at the 400m before racing home to secure the win by three quarters of a length on the line in time of 57.66.
