As the gates drew back in the Graham Hurst memorial maiden over 1200 m the first runner into stride was Dusty Storm, Block And Tackle soon talk over and led by a length early in the piece of the maiden.

Early into the straight Block And Tackle lead, Dusty Storm’s run seem to have ended Kilkenny Jo ran on strongly with Variation and Buster’s Shadow, but in the concluding stages of the event it was Block And Tackle (Alfred Nobel X Amelia’s Moment) chalking up win number 1 at start number 2 for connections Mr A Webster & Good Win Racing on this occasion.
