Ben Pearce has prepared five runners for the Northam race club meeting on Sunday, October 25 the weather is predicted to be fine racing on a good three the rail position is at the inside position for the nine event program.

The first of the stable runners will see a first starter in Avignon Lass venture out in race one in a maiden set weights over 1400 m with Ben Patterson aboard jumping from barrier 11.

Avignon Lass is prepared for this outing via a lark Hill barrier trial on October 12 finishing 11 of 12 with Ms Jerry Noske aboard arriving 9.25 lengths behind the winner of that heat in a time of 56.56 for the 950m dash.

The second of the stable runners will see Poets Tale, third up from a spell in race two in a maiden for three year olds and upwards, over 1600 m with Ms Casey Hunter aboard jumping from barrier five with a field of 12 to compete.

Poets Tale is a four-year-old gelding having start number 10 with one placing earning prize-money in excess of $3000, last time out he was much improved when running at Northam over a mile, finished second of 11 with Ms Casey Hunter aboard arriving 0.35 lengths behind the winner.

The next stable runner will come out in race 4 in a maiden set weights of three year Olds and upwards over 1100 m with Corse He's Quick to be ridden by Peter Hall jumping from barrier five in a field 15.

Corse He's Quick is a four-year-old chestnut gelding having had a string of trials (5) without leading to a preparation run,  but is prepared for this event via a Lark Hill trial on October 12 finishing midfield fourth of 8 over 950 m with Peter Hall aboard arriving 2.0 lengths behind the heat winner in a time of 56.64.

Ben has added Blinkers and a Standard Bit for this occasion.

Next out for the team will see the ever consistent Raising Dubai compete in the feature of the day in race eight in the XXXX Gold Northam Cup of listed quality over 1600 m with Ms Jerry Noske aboard jumping from barrier six in a field of eight.

Raising Dubai is a six-year-old Bay gelding having raced on 43 occasions for seven wins and 17 placings earning prize-money in excess of $278,000, recent efforts have been at Belmont on September 26 finishing first of 8 over 1600m with Ms Jerry Noske aboard arriving one length in front of the nearest rival in a time of 1:38.62 and was last seen at Belmont on October 10, racing over a mile finishing second of 10 with Clint Johnson-Porter aboard landing three quarters of a length behind the winner in a time of 1:38.36.

The final contestant for the team will come out in race nine with Prince Friar to compete over 1400 m in a 0 to 64 handicap with Ben Patterson in charge jumping from barrier nine in a field of 16.

Prince Friar is a four-year-old Bay gelding having start number 11 with one win and 2 placings earning prize-money in excess of $18,000,  last time out he raced at Geraldton on October 11 finishing six of 9 over 1100 m with Ms Casey Hunter aboard arriving 3.5 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:06.09.
