Ben Pearce trialled on Monday, the 3rd of November at the Lark Hill trials in heat 3 over 950 m with  a two-year-old Brown gelding by War Chant from the mare Fairy Fix called Chanzig, picked up by Ben at the sales and sold off to connections of other runners in the stable with the gelding having his first outing with Alan Kennedy in charge.

 

The youngster trialled nicely first time out and took out the event by three quarters of a length to Diamond Tonique in second and True Valorem in third, with the Ben Pearce trained commodity displaying well in a heat time of 56.91.

 

Ben bought 2 War Chant's at the Magic Millions sales this year with the second closely related to one of Bens other classy types Vampi Lass.

 

Ben has supported War Chant efforts in the breeding department lately as he is association with his progeny have all shown to be nice types to train with early ability obvious. War Chant is earning notoriety amongst the breeding ranks with

*30 stakes winners,

*Sire of 69.3% runners to winners,

*with his progeny winning over $40 million in stakes.
