The Ben Pearce Yard will head to the Ascot race meeting on Wednesday, 19th March with two runners vying for the prize. The weather currently is fine the rail is out 12 m and the thoroughbreds will be running on a good three.
The first of Ben Pearce runners is Beinn Nibheis wearing saddlecloth 5 and will be ridden by Peter Knuckey jumping from barrier 6.
First time out Beinn Nibheis ran 9th of 11 at Bunbury and it was decided to put the three-year-old Bay gelding away after that outing, enabling it to mature and grow and was bought back to the trials at Larkhill on 10th of March, where he finished second of eight ridden by Peter on that occasion. His work has been sound leading to this and it would be nice to see him run a good race for connections.
The next stable runner is Don'tgetcaught to be ridden by Troy Turner, wearing saddle cloth 7, having his third start, however is first up this preparation after a recent second of nine at a lark hill trial
Ben has added blinkers for this outing, in an effort to keep him honest throughout the trip.
Best of luck to connections with their runners at Ascot on Wednesday.
